Report: Fox News gave GOP presidential candidates $55 million in free advertising
    Source: Raw Story

Being on the Fox News payroll has its advantages.

Not only did five potential Republican candidates get regular paychecks from the network last year, but they also got something even more valuable: airtime

Liberal watchdog group Media Matters found that the five received about $55 million in free advertising over the course of more than 85 hours of appearances in 2010.

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee appeared for almost 48 hours. Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin had nearly 14 hours of appearances.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich was given close to 12 hours. Former senator from Pennsylvania Rick Santorum and former UN Ambassador under George W. Bush John Bolton both received about six hours.

Correct. All major news agencies have agendas. The top of which is the almighty buck and their political party.

All major news agencies are little more than propaganda machines.
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.

I agree I believe the only true straight news agency is the BBC.

Fuck media matters. Liberals complaining about media bias is like the Backstreet Boys complaining about bad music.

Not so much. They have all sorts of biases. There's an article about it over at Wikipedia. I've read better, but they sum it up decently.

I stand by my statement that all major new agencies are propaganda machines.

I think Fox is more lopsided towards GOP candidates getting airtime, but if it isn't illegal, so be it. You have the option to change the channel just like everyone else. If you don't know that Fox News isn't fair and balanced by now you are either retarded or from the center part of the country. Tomato, Toematoe.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.
