Well it's been 5 months now

Since I've started my extreme caloric restriction diet. I started at 265lbs and now I'm at 208lbs. I've been taking in about 600 calories per day, mostly consisting of 2 protein shakes. One for breakfast and another for supper. I usually stick to this regimine for 3 days and nights and then on the fourth I have a normal food day.

It's been real interesting dropping this much weight so quickly. I went from a size 40 pant that were getting very tight on me to a size 36. Some of my size36 jeans are baggy fit and are loose in my waist too. I was even able to squeeze into my Marine Corps dress blues that I haven't worn in 12 years!

I would like to drop another 20lbs or so, taking me in to the high 180's to low 190's. I haven't been that light since High School.

The only thing I have hated about this lifestyle change is Charlie Horses. I do take lots of vitamins every day and I understand that I'm still not eating much of anything, but they are a problem. Usually they kick in on the 3rd night and I wake up in severe pain hopping around to get them to stretch out and restore blood flow. Some of them are real severe and don't go away for almost a half hour. Last night was one of those nights that I was constantly up and now I'm exhausted before work.

All in all, I am still very happy.

You could lift and have slightly sore muscles plus be able to eat and raise your metabolism with added muscle or you can starve and deal with extreme pain in your muscles plus not have anyway to help burn the fat when you decide to eat again////
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles

no folds or creases from unkempt wear

no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
