Google Utorrent. Download the downloader. When thats done go to The Pirate Bay.com for all your media needs. Basically anything you could ever think of media wise is there.
If you are having trouble playing some of your downloads then download a Codec Pack from thepiratebay and you will be able to play about every file type imaginable. GICH

Yes. An endless sea of porn but its more efficient to just hit up pornhub or tube8 IMO. Before all those sites popped up I had 298 gigs of porno on my external HD. Its hard for some people to understand exactly how much that is but I could LHJO to a different scene everyday for probably 10 lifetimes. I didnt even watch much of it. It was just like a hobby for a while to see how much footage I could compile.

Yup. Vuze is the shazzle dazzle my hombre. It searches a variety of torrent servers and usually has everything I search for. Except for the Joaquin Phoenix film "I'm Still Here". I had to go to piratebay to get it. Fuckin' awesome film though.

Get PeerGuardian2 or some other IP masker if you're doing a lot of downloading/uploading. I forgot to turn mine on for like a week and ended getting a letter from my ISP stating if I didn't quit they would investigate. Whatever that means. I got fined in college twice for downloading while on campus. They received subpoenas from the FBI for internet account records of staff and students.

Downloading music is for people who are not smart enough to get friends that are dumb enough to buy CD's.

Yeah man when I was in the dorm I let my suite-mates use my Demonoid account. For some reason they got caught and I didn't. The school cut off their internet access. Haha

And one time I downloaded a movie and got a letter from my ISP saying that I need to remove the file from my computer and if I get one more, they are canceling my service.

Thanks for the tip. I always delete the file and never upload just for that reason. Kind of a dick move, but I'm covering my bases.

I just download old stuff no one cares if you are stealing it anymore or rare obscure movies and whole discographies of not so popular bands, if it's a new movie I just wait until it shows on cable.... Of course their going to bust you DLing Hannah Montana or Lady Gaga, they don't give a shit about Akira Kurosawa's Dreams.....there's just way too much good shit from the past to chance it for the latest and "greatest"

Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

320kbps is a fine sounding bit rate whether downloaded or not.

    Conclusions

All in all, I was impressed by the quality of MP3's vs CD. Unlike the preconceived notions I had when I set out to do these tests, the 192Kbps MP3 was indeed "near CD quality." The degradation was indeed subtle, but noticeable. It is my belief, however, that on the HiFi setup the 192Kbps MP3 is more fatiguing to the ears during extended listening. Surprisingly, 256Kbps and 320Kbps MP3 were virtually indistinguishable by my ears from the CD, except for a light boost in the upper midrange and treble.
    Update

Putting my controlled testing aside, for practical purposes, maybe it doesn't really matter if lower bitrate MP3's sound inferior to CD's. For casual listening (e.g. on PA systems, trashy built-in laptop speakers, or in noisy environments, such as in a convertible with the top down) 128Kbps is probably more than adequate. I have done some further informal tests with non-critical listeners, and they really don't notice (nor do they care about) the difference in audio quality between CD's and 128Kbps MP3's.

Sometimes, it is beneficial to put aside scientific/engineering mumbo jumbo, and instead analyze the cost/benefit ratio. Given a fixed amount of storage, one can store considerably twice as much music at 128Kbps than at 256Kbps. Before deciding what bitrate to use, analyze the target audience and listening environment, and then make a educated decision as to what bitrate is appropriate. 128Kbps has been chosen by many people because it's of sufficient quality for the vast majority of listeners. If you like to listen on a portable device with small storage, such as a 256MB flash-based MP3 player, you can fit more songs on the device if you use a lower bitrate. Anything lower than 128Kbps is unacceptable, IMHO. Personally, I will stick with 192Kbps for all but my most treasured pieces, which I will encode @ 256Kbps, but each to their own.

Yep, I got my first cease and desist email this week from my ISP. I was downloading episodes of the walking dead off of a public torrent tracker, and someone was apparently was snooping. I knew better than to use public trackers, but I had gone so long without getting noticed.

I think I'll move over to usenet which is what I used in college.
