It was not immediately clear what ships the U.S. Navy has in the Mediterranean but it does have two aircraft carriers stationed further to the east.
The U.S. Sixth Fleet has its headquarters near Naples, Italy, across the Mediterranean from Libya."

The only way Obama/UN/NATO is getting a no-fly zone is to take out Libya's anti-aircraft defense system which isn't exactly archaic. That's going to require air strikes and troops on the ground. Do you think Obama and the left want to be responsible for starting another war particularly in a muslim country?

In addition to what I said previously, it's not going to help our so-called cause in Irag or A-stan if we invade another Muslim country. The only way Obama is going into Libya is as a collective group of nations.
