bro i have been i manu situations where myself and the girl thought she was pregnant ( motning sicvkness, cramps, emotions all that estrogen related stuff) even once she took a testr and said she was positive then few days later she wasnt so dont psych yourself out about it untill u see a positive test and then... no but really everything happens for a reason

Your never ready bro. I met my wife and 5 months later we were married and a month after that she got pregnant with my first daughter who's 2. Now she 6 months with our second daughter. Kids are a blessing man. I was a man whore and I went out all the time. After i saw my daughter everything changed. You will experience life in a whole new way bro. Hate to sound gay and mushy but it's the greatest scariest thing I've ever done. Good luck bro. Ps I also had 4 scares before so I feel u. At least ur with her and it's not some random girl.

it can get stressful time to time especially during hormonal ups and downs but the moment you hold your baby everything changes, i have a 6 months old girl and man it is just an amazing feeling...guessing that you and your girl are serious...if not then yeah you might be in some deep shit...

I swear to god, she used to be 5'2 105 now shes like 122 and she was wearin this sun dress thing the other day and when she turned.... it was over. From that point on i havent stopped thinkin shes pregnant.

my wife is 5'5 and she was 120 before pregnancy, she had gestational diabetes during it and she went up to 175...oh man it wasn't so pleasant...now after 6 months she went down to 130the last 10 pounds

When my gf was pregnant she made me move our bed into the livingroom where it was cooler because of hot flashes so be prepared for weirdness....

Also a word of caution, I was so pumped up to be a father thinking of all the things I could teach my kid that I neglected to guard myself against the possibility of things going wrong. On our 8th week we went in and found out it was a miscarriage. I was devastated, for a long time I'd have dreams of what my unborn child would have been like, I've never felt the same after that. I am far from being a religious person but I pray that you never have to go through that, but still guard yourself against the worst. I am sure you 2 will do great, my gf was 42 so the chances were greatly increased....

Damn that is sad man. My first child's birth was a tough one. He swallowed meconium during labor and my wife had to have an emergency c-section. This was after 15 hours of trying to have him naturally. When the doctors brought him out, he was not crying. They had to turn him upside and shake him to get the crap out of his lungs. After about a minute he started wimpering. He was then put on a c-pap machine to help him breath. The hospital we delivered at did not have a NICU. He had to be transferred to another hospital about an hour away. My wife, since she had the c-section, was not able to go see him for two days. She never got to even hold our baby for two days after she went through that horrible labor. All in all it worked out. He pulled through and was released to us 5 days later. My wife is due in April with our second. We are due for nice smooth birth. Fingers crossed. That experience has changed my life. I will always be extremely sympathetic for people who have gone through similar issues or who have even lost children. I don't think I could handle something like that. God forbid.

agreed....I dated the same girl for 10+yrs and then got married. Had a kid 1yr after wedding and he's 6mo old now. I never was ready and I'm still not ready, but you roll with the punches. She wants 6 kids

Wow man... im so sorry. Everything happens for a reason man. With age the risk of complications go up. Not just a miscarraige, complications birth and with the baby.

Well... it said positive. Then she went to her obgyn and said she not so i think im in the clear. Although, i was pretty excited after thinking for a while. Stayed up all night thinkin, but its for the best. Thanks guys.

Yea defnitely don't psych yourself out, you are a long ways from a successful pregnancy. First you need to get a positive pregnancy test. Then you need to go through the dangerous 2-8 week stage, and then you start your preps for your baby girl or boy!

This reminds me of the old days when I would wait until a gf went on the rag first before I broke up with her.
