Default Obama declares state governors will enforce health care bill whether

(NaturalNews) At a recent meeting with US state governors in Washington, DC, President Obama made clear his intent to force the individual states to comply with his unconstitutional health care overhaul. Twenty-six states have already filed federal lawsuits challenging the constitutionality of the bill -- and some judges have already declared it to be null and void -- prior to the announcement.

Clearly overstepping his constitutional bounds, Obama chided states for even questioning the bill, despite the fact that it will likely plunge every one of them into irreparable bankruptcy. He also declared a refusal to allow states to "weaken" the bill in any way, even though two federal judges have already ruled it to be unconstitutional (http://www.naturalnews.com/030716_O...).

In eerily dictator-style fashion, Obama stated to the governors that they are free to come up with modifications to the bill that will help make it enforceable more quickly, but that any attempts to dismantle it will not be tolerated. Such a proposition, of course, is a gross violation of the law, as a president cannot arbitrarily oppose the will of the judicial branch and demand that unconstitutional provisions be enforced.

The Tenth Amendment to the US Constitution states that the powers not granted to the federal government -- which happen to include issues involving health care and all attempts to mandate that people purchase coverage -- are reserved to the states or to the people. Ironically, this means that the ones who should be lawfully calling the shots in this case are the governors, not Obama.

This gross violation of the law and the arrogant and threatening way it is being played out by the Obama administration perfectly illustrates why the states right now need to reassert their rightful authority over the out-of-control federal government. Obama has no lawful right to demand that the states enforce his unconstitutional bill, which is why groups like The Tenth Amendment Center (Tenth Amendment Center) are working hard to help states oppose it.

People that can afford health care insurance are choosing to not buy it and this is contributing to health care cost increases.
That is one of the problems with the current system that reform is trying to address.

Kindly explain to me why my health care insurance premiums and health care costs should be higher because some people that can afford health insurance do not buy it.

If the uninsured need major medical treatment, they cannot not afford it out of pocket.
Doctors and hospitals are shifting costs to insured patients to cover the uninsured.
This drives up the cost of health care for everyone.

Which is not the real problem. Not even close.

How about letting people purchase health care from across states lines? You know, to the encourage the thing referred to as "competition"?

    How about stopping frivolous lawsuits?

How about not paying for people that do stupid shit like abusing alcohol, drugs, and food?

Because asshats that think that way have no right to force others to purchase a service.

Also, many people that support Obamacare say dumb shit like, "We want health care like Canada and Britain!" The problem is that Obamacare isn't what they have. They have a single payer system.

Also, just in case you still believe that Obamacare is good: it's not even really what Obama wanted. He had to make so many, many concessions that it's only a bastardized version of what he wanted in the first place.

But I'm sure that a backroom deal struck by politicians and corporations bodes well for everyone...
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.

Blue Cross of CA has been doing this for decades...when the lose profits from one they increase premiums on the other groups of policy holders that "they can". health care insurance mainly increase profits be either increasing premium or reducing services or both.
