Burning movies to DVD's
What do you use? I have AVI files on my computer that I want to burn to DVD. Having a hard time finding a good program to do this for me. Any suggestions?

I don't watch that many dvds. My kid does though. I just downloaded some kid shows and wanted to burn them to dvd for him. I want to be able to throw them into my dvd player and watch them on tv.

Oh, and to answer your original post, try DVD Shrink. It's primary purpose is to rip DVDs, but I believe it has a function to create them, too.

nero if you want to author the files. If your dvd player has DIVX then just burn the avi files to the disc and your dvd player will read them.
or if you tv has a usb it will run the avi files from a usb

Download, Nero Burner, Drag your file from burned area to desktop. Drag the new dvd burned rip into nero, from desktop. It dosent get much easier.

I'm not really familiar with either of those in relation to playing media files. However, the Boxee is made solely for that purpose. It's way more than just a browser. Originally Posted by x~factor

All the consoles do is play DVD/BluRay discs. And controlling a movie with a game controller is just too childish.
