No everything turns on Sheen's character it's just that he's a total douche bag now. Chuck Lorre is a genius. He's the funny. Sheen is just a plug and play automaton that's good with lines and delivery.Plus he is basically playing himself so there is really no acting involved.

i don't remember sheen much in the show really but the other guys troubles are what the show revolves around. like finding a place to screw his gf etc. the kid and his dad usually seemed to be the meat of the show.
