    NHE Certification Content Writer Job

I've noticed some NHE certified trainers on this site and wondered if anyone knew anything about their content writer job?

    Thanx!

Not familiar with the content writer position. I applied for a job there but didn't get hired. I've always like the NHE organization because of their hard stance on quality professional trainers. What does a content writer do?

Basically develop educational material for students. My professor told me to check NHE out for opportunities and so this was the one job that seemed plausible for me, considering my tight schedule. I was wondering about the qualifications for it. I've heard you had to take an exam but the exams are pretty hard.

Sounds boring. You mean you have to write a book?

I don't think so. I think it's an awesome career to have because you can work your own hours, work anywhere you want and best of all, you don't have to deal with a manager or supervisor breathing down your neck every 15 minutes. I've applied for two other content writer jobs and I send my resume to Iron Mag too!

All of the threads I have read say that NHE is the best place for growth, in terms of a career. It could be why they have such a tough screening process.

The benefits of the job sound very appealing and I would agree for the most part, but hanging around the public library, doing research, sounds a tad old fashioned. Then again... librarians are hot!

Maybe I should look into it....

I guess that is one way of looking at it. The other way to look at it is they pay $500 for a few days work. Boring or not, that is good money.

Where do I retake my NHE personal trainer exam? Do I go to the same proctor center as I did originally or do I take it online?

That sucks! You failed your exam. I think you will take it at the same location as before. At least, that is how it used to be.

    Thanks for the revelation.

I actually just got off the phone with NHE student services and they told me it was at the same place, so you were right.

I wasn't expecting the exam to be that hard. I should've studied harder.

Their exams are tough, no doubt. It's a great cert to have because not everyone can afford it and not everyone has it. Everyone has NASM, ISSA or ACE. The NHE certs are new. Are you taking the level 1, 2, or 3?

I took the NHE master trainer exam and I thought I did pretty good on most of it. I almost ran out of time because I was rechecking my answers, something I don't recommend anyone try to do because there really isn't enough time. I haven't heard anything yet about my results but even if I don't get the position I want, I hope I just pass the exam because I'd like to have the certificate.

    Thanks for the responses.

    nhe content writer job

The NHE exams are very challenging and are different from ACE or AFAA exams. If you don't have an exercise science degree then you better study your ass off. If you waltz in there thinking you are going to 'ace' it, you will be in for a rude awakening.

Yeah, you deserved it. It is an exam for the seriuos professional and due to the fact that you are one, you didn't take it lightly and that is probably the reason you passed.
