God forbid the people that pay little or no taxes pay more.

Madcow bitches that Republican's are claiming fiscal crisis in order to tax the poor and old. I guess she missed Obama's first year in office where everything, including his trillion dollar porkulus, was declared an emergency so it could be rushed through unread.

Madcow is sorry pathetic DNC hack dike.

He doesn't mention it because it was just that, porkulous. A save everybody and save everything from themselves bologna bill. He promised transparency on all bills if he got in, instead he gives no cspan coverage (another BS promise) and very little time read much of the bill, let alone read it completely and understand it. He didn't want all the stuffed pork from being discovered and the populace to find out. After the "hurry, before we all die" stage passed, it was found that the funds slowly trickled out months later. All a ruse to get it signed before he got caught with his pants down. Fvcking borderline criminal, if you ask me.

Another shill selling the countries soul to get his pathetic votes. Shameless basterds like this need to be bludgeoned by the very people that support them.

As a lifelong MI resident I disagree that this is bad policy. This state is filled with non-contributing citizens. They need to purge these people and get some contributing members of society in their place, hence tax the poor and give the tax breaks to corporations that will bring some jobs (some are better than the NONE that we have now) and tax paying citizens.

Come to Detroit and see what the city looks like and what those people live in, it is seriously worse than the houses and conditions in undeveloped nations. Something has to be done. Example:

Slums of Detroit: A Look At The Heart of America’s 2nd Most Deserted City - By Matt Harvey - The eXiled

There are houses for sale for $1 all over the city, nobody will buy them.

    But Michigan is screwed regardless.

I must disagree. I think it's been firmly established that big business is 100% evil and that the poor are victims.
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.

Sometimes I cut my sarcasm too thinly.

Yeah, I wasn't being serious. I've stated time and again that I believe that most of the poor deserve to be poor and that being rich isn't, in and of itself, evil,

kind of like a POTUS lying to take a country to war that cost trillions of dollars on the back end and thousands of lives lost and hundreds of thousands injured...

Detroiters did none of that. It's all white people going down there and stealing, shooting everything up, trashing houses, littering, or whatever else Detroiters don't do.

I went back to MI for Christmas the state is really screwed. A lot of businesses are closed and the city maintenance is nothing. Sorry to say but I am glad to be here where the unemployment is only 14 % in my county
