A request

I would like to take a moment to ask all of you to please take a minute tonight and think of my friends Rich and Val. Tonight Val went into labor at 5 months, and they were able to stop the contractions, but then her water broke. They were forced to deliver the baby. AJ was born at approximately 6:20 on November 7, 2002 and passed at approximately 7:30. They are absolutely crushed. This is no joke, there is no punch line. They did not ask me to do this, I just thought that they could use all the positive thoughts at this time and I can think of no better place than here. Thank you my friends!

So sorry to hear this.....when you have children of your own you know how special they are.......even when they havent been with us long!!!!! A special message for Val.....the pain does ease.... little by little.....the days get easier.....I promise.

I am so sorry to hear ... that is terrible. We'll keep them in our prayers for sure.

I know this doesn't help right now, but my mother-in-law lost 3 children to sids. She has only grown to be a stronger person. Was it right? No! Does knowing this help the pain? No! But hopefully they'll see that there is a reason why their baby was taken from them. I truly believe there is a reason children are taken from this world. Lean ... you and your wife must now be very strong for your friends. They'll need all the shoulder room you can muster.

take care of yourselves so that you can be strong for them

Thank you everyone! I'm really at a loss of words for what I experienced this past weekend. Your thoughts were well received, and although they don't know it, I know what you all did was exactly what they needed. There was a small grave-side service for family and friends. I've just never seen anything like this and hope to God, that I never have to again. I prey that you all never have anything like that in your lives. Thank you all again so very much.
