Thread: US Soldier Sentenced to 24 Years in Prison in Afghan Murder Case

I spent a year in Iraq and can say that people do get a bit unhinged after a while. But, that being said, you spend years in the army leaning how to be disciplined and how to follow orders. These ass clowns violated their primary orders to not fuck with civilians and instead concentrate on finding and killing the real enemy.

If they had kept their animal instincts in check, and done what they were told, they would have had plenty of opportunities to shoot real bad guys free and clear. It's what they call a "target rich environment" over there, and they were wasting time and ammo playing out their Rambo fantasies.

Fuck those guys. They are a disgrace to the uniform.

this^^^^ I know a few guys who were over there 5 and 6 times and they didn't act in this fashion at all. sadly all it takes is a few nuts in uniform to ruin things.
