when people that get paid labor wages champion and put those in power that want want to reduce those same labor wages to increase the income of the wealthy, that's a very safe assumption...

I too, have to agree with Typo.
Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first.

Oh, I always assumed Russia was godless. No god would be there with those kind of winters.

He already did. Without a strict government, people turn to a high power to solve their problems. I'm ad-libbing from memory, but that was the jist of his whole post.

Scientist: U.S., Canada, Mexico, Hawaii targeted in nuclear war from Japan

    by Alfred Lambremont Webre
Independent scientist with Alfred Lambremont Webre has stated that the west coasts of the United States and Canada, Mexico, and Hawaii are being intentionally targeted by dangerous radiation from the March 11, 2011 tectonic warfare earthquake and nuclear meltdown events at Fukushima, Japan.
The west coasts of the United States and Canada, and Mexico, Ms. Moret indicates, are the major food producing areas for North America. Radiation from the Japan quake/nuclear meltdown events at Fukushima is intentionally being steered into these areas in order to dose the land and the food with radiation.

Great to see logic and rational comments here. Though it does make me wonder if 38% of active IM member are intentionally staying out of this thread. We haven't heard from biochem yet.

When a population adopts(read: force fed)communism, it does so recognising the same kinds of corruption in church and state. I've never seen statistics on the actual level of atheism in russia, but am inclined to believe that russian atheism would be like American christianity in the 1600's. Mostly an act so you don't get murdered. In all top down heirarchies, the system inherently concentrates power and wealth at the top. This creates poverty and disempowerment at the bottom. Having no recourse other than faith that it will get better, some folks will turn to the faith taught to them by their parents.
May the plop be on you.

Nationalism is, for all intensive purposes, a religion. Force feed people ideology to get them to do what you want with as little resistance as possible. An added bonus for those who can abuse this is that nationalism usually breeds hate of others giving the sheep something to focus their energies on to keep their mind off of how badly they are being fucked by those in charge.
