I don't think I mentioned this but I got promoted last week!!!
I am officially an Acting supervisor!!!  A big Jump in Pay and something new to do...with less responsobility or different responsobility   |

In order to do this The company/individual in care rents a house, either on thier own(if the case calls for it) but usually with a roomate. The company I work for has 35 homes throughout the community. Each house is staffed, the house I work at staffs ten employees, 2 people per shift for an eight hour period, three shifts a day. Each two houses has one supervisor, they operate on what they call flex time.....they're supposed to put in 40 hours per week (a salaried position) but the head honchos really don't have any way to track them down or keep track of them other than cell phones. The flex time is supposed to be start at 9 work to 5 or start at 10 work to 6....that rarely happens. I have been promoted to the position of Acting supervisor so whenever a supervisor calls in sick, takes vacation, LOA, Mat. leave, I get called to fill in while they're gone for a substantial pay increase Dat = more post time |
