the economy would be doing much better if the GOP wasn't trying to sink it further for the long term future of the political party itself. the far righters are forgetting that thanks to Citizens United v Federal Election Commission the GOP doesn't even need them anymore. as long as they give what the corporations and tax exempt churches want they are good to go in terms of campaign finance.

how many jobs bills has the House introduced to date? and how many bills regarding "social reforms"?

Obama has barely made any economic policy other than the TARP and Stimulus mostly just continuing what was already in place....the US is "reaping" the rewards of globalization and 30 years conservative supply-side economics right now...how's your bank account looking?

in terms of jobs the US never recovered from the recession in 2001. we will never be able to create enough jobs there will always be a surplus of low skilled labor in this country. continuing to cut education and de-funding planned parenthood further insures that.

George H. Bush (Bush 41) had approval ratings of 79/80% in April, 1992, after riding Gulf War I.
