I would have put my foot thru that painting.

You've gotta love this.
Leaders of the ultra-conservative Westboro Baptist Church have repeatedly skirted the law by maintaining a legal distance while picketing military funerals. This weekend, a New York artist attempted to beat the church at its own game by creating a satirical painting of Pastor Fred Phelps Sr. across the street from the organization's headquarters in Kansas.
Scott LoBaido traveled to the church's compound in Topeka, where he parked his truck across the street and painted a portrait depicting Phelps in a carnal embrace with the devil. The painting also lampoons Phelps' daughter, Shirley Phelps-Roper.The artist said he pointed out that he was creating a work of art and not a sign, and that he was within his legal rights to be there. The police did not take further action against him, he said.
LoBaido said the painting will be auctioned on EBay, with proceeds going toward Homes for Heroes -- an organization that helps veterans find housing -- and Community Health Action of Staten Island.![]()

I think I misread his intentions, I thought he was doing the opposite, I recant my previous post.

Thanks for clearing that up. I think Phelps and his cronnies should get thier teeth kicked in every time they do that. I get freedom of speech and am all for it, but if they want to fight the goverment about the war, thats cool. But fucking with some poor Mom and Pop who just lost a son or daughter is crossing the line. IMO
Don't tread on me!!
Quit Bitching, Start a Revolution

^ it takes a big man to admit when he's wrong.. your first post didn't sound like you at all.
i think this is great. i'd like to see the entire painting
kinda small but lmao.
Don't look back ~ You're not going that way!

Right. I thought he was "protesting" a war veteran's funeral, if that were the case I would do what I said above, and maybe a punch to the face.

^ that's the Prince i know. sometimes freedom of speech causes agony to other citizens. someone needs to have balls enough to set some limits.

My opening bid, 10 bucks.
And I'm capping it at 25.
The journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step.

he should paint more. he could sell all of them i bet. next should be mrs phelps sucking satan's cock. satan buggering mr phelps and a look of pure ecstasy on phelps' face...
this artist became a national hero at the speed of a paintbrush. :applause:

Jagbender's battle of the bulge
The problems we face today are because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by the people who vote for a living
No shit man, people who don't respect those in uniform or even acknowledge the sacrifice they make for us are the lowest of the low in my book. That guy is lucky it wasn't me painting, I would have the devil do him in the ass with a smile on his face to show it like the BITCH that he is.![]()

What I want if for him to protest at one of their funerals.

There was a video about a group of bikers who form a wall in front of the church picketers so the families of the fallen soldiers can't see them. They also play patriotic music and hold flags to drown out the chants from these asshole protestors
The problem with this is that Those soldiers have to obey orders, they don't go to buttfuck nowhere(iraq or where ever) because they like it or want it, If that fucktard priest have an issues then he should protest the government who send those soldiers to there!!! not the poor families who are already sad that their kid is killed in action.

There is Freedom of Speech and then there are attention whores; we have a prefect example who keeps returning over the past few weeks....
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Looks like John McCain got his own portrait, so to speak.

There was a church protesting at my cousins funeral. A bunch of bikers from the VFW and various clubs showed up and did just that. There was about 50 of them. The protestors were made completely irrelevant. It was quite a site to see. We were immeasurably grateful to all these guys that showed up on their own after hearing that the church was planning to demonstrate.
