Thread: Our future generation.......

Every generation seems to think they are the last with any common sense, yet fail to realize how brilliant younger generations are.... Someone asked me recently if I don't have faith in God then what do I have faith in, I said "I have faith in humans." Sure theres a bunch of pure shit DNA running amok, but when it comes down to it the vast majority of us are excellent people....Theres a bit of misguided jaded mentalities lost in the ether of the popular layer, but underneath it when we get down a sudden realization pulls us all together. Look at the earthquake in Japan or any natural disaster people pull together and we do whats has to be done.

Look at the Green Revolution, as long as we continue to fight for our home aquarium to keep it clean we'll be alright///I'm working on novel right now that deals with "What if we are Stuck Here, this is the only planet we can really survive on..." People assume we can just go colonize Mars or the moon, but what if say the Earth's magnetosphere keeps us from going haywire, keeps our brains functioning properly what if we get way out there in space and find that we go completely nuts without it....or maybe we just aren't as smart out there and we can't adapt like we do on Earth cause our brains don't fire right....

I'm hoping that they'll find a cure for aging, which I'd jump at, so I can make sure the kids will be all right.

If any species can survive it will be the human race however we are now living in a period known as technological adolescence where we have a combustible mix of ignorance and nuclear power. This could be why we haven't made contact with other intelligent lifeforms throughout the Universe as many civilizations would reach a point in which their technology had advanced beyond their understanding of how to reach a peaceful medium with one another.
Finances and economies will always change hands throughout time as has happened to all advanced civilisation throughout history ultimately leading to their demise.

As for morality, it is despite religions that it has become a self correcting system which has well and truly surpassed the teachings of any scripture and it will continue to do so as long as we live. As long as barbaric, fascist ideologies are suppressed by way of fair means I think we'll thrive... eventually.

The next 500 years will determine whether or not we survive and mature as a race. It does make me wonder what our outcome will be and I can only begin to imagine our true potential. We are not yet living in a scientific age.
