Thats the spirit to have while you're locked up in prison. You might even drop the soap on purpose
I love getting high, I hate getting low, and I like to drive my truck down a muddy dirt road.

I'm a great believer in luck and I find that the harder I work, the more I have of it.

Are you doing missionary work or an internship? I thought a job implied a paycheck, otherwise it is volunteering.
Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.

That's cool - I didn't know that type of situation existed. Good luck, because obviously it is something you are passionate about or you wouldn't be doing it for free.

We pay our summer interns minimum wage, usually electrical engineering students wanting to get into alternative energy, but we also get high school only educated kids who just want to install. I try to expose them to what real projects they should be focusing on. Too many want the grand slam solar or wind farms that take up massive swaths of land, I try to instill that covering roofs with mini systems that can add up to those megawatt farms will save land that could be a park, farmland or whatever.... It also provides redundancy because if one residential small inverter goes down it won't impact the grid like a hundred kilowatt inverter, all the neighbors who have overproduced make up for the down time of that one residences down time.

But good for you excepting a loss to make gains, not many would do such things in this day and age they want to get rich even if they don't have the skills, they expect to get out of school and make the big bucks. A lot of my fellow students from college who I run into are working at jobs not related because they didn't get out of school and land that awesome job they were expecting so they dropped their dreams for the first opportunity that came along. And I blame my school for partially instilling that false idea in their heads. One day they brought in a kid who had recently graduated and had landed a network consultant job and was making 60k already, what they failed to tell us was his parents had spent thousands more getting him every Cisco and Microsoft cert and his father and the owner of the network consulting company were alumnus of the most prestigious private school on the Island, you all might know it our President went to the same one.

I have a good feeling about this situation. Worst case its something to add to a resume.

I wish I would have realized 7 years ago what it takes to land that kick ass job. Having just a 4 yr degree sure wasn't the way.
