Yep we would have. I can't stand the arrogant little prick. Next time I'm stopped for speeding, I'm asking for the Kyle Bush treatment. This happened about 1 hr from me.

Shit, next time I get pulled over for speeding, I'll just promise the officer," I'll never do it again".

I can't stand him, but I also can't blame him. I had a full bolt on 99 cobra vert with a 150 shot. I got carried away racing a 10 second Evo. I had it pegged at 6k in 5th. I don't know how fast it was but the top sounded like it was going to fly off.

Looking back, it makes me sick because I could have easily killed myself or someone else.

I think it's more of the fact that he was nearly going 100mph over the speed limit. Thats dangerous in ANY vehicle.

Fastest I think I've gone is 140 in a Ferrari that I was taking to the beach to take pictures for a clients website, straight stretch in front of the airport here in Honolulu is about the only place you can do this... I was kind of scared cause it felt like I was gliding on a cushion of air and any little bump would send me careening into the concrete median. I passed 2 cars at about 100 and then no one was ahead of me... I gunned it and kept looking down at the spedometer as it climbed then back at the road, up down up down. I saw it hit 140 and paranoia hit all I could see was pictures of car crashes I'd seen flashing through my mind so I let off and cruised at around 80 for a while then decided to go the speed limit the rest of the trip while the adrenaline coursed through me....Had I been more familiar with the car I would have trusted it to go faster....Like my car now I know how it handles in all sorts of situations so I could push it faster without worrying too much.....

I agree. According to my speedometer, my speed limit is 150mph. Going 100mph over that would be extremely dangerous.

I don't know if it's really a big deal. I don't put much stock in our country's ability to set speed limits. 128mph does sound excessive for a road with a 45mph limit but for all I know it was a straight away on a four lane highway with a median space and no traffic.

I know of a road where the speed limit is 35mph; it's a little country road in the middle of nowhere but at a certain point there's a huge straightaway. I've been down that straightaway at 120mph.

Hit 170 on a motorcycle. Looking back it was really stupid.

Also gone 165 in a car, that was even more scary then the bike cause it took forever to get up that fast.

Id never do either again I was young and stupid.
