Question People that TAN during winter via SUNBED :-)

(For those of you that might be new to this, tanning is great, chicks dig that... it's a relatively painless process for great results... this thread should hopefully help...)

I'm just going to start this season so I need some tips...

1) Which brand of sunbed tanning lotion can you recommend? as it's critical and I can't waste money on b$...
2) Also tanning dries up your skin, what do you do about that? Any moisturizers?

I'm just going to start this winter, and I want to do it right...
3) How should I start? Timing per sessions and number of sessions? (I tan like an avg person)
(I think it's critical to start out right to get a nice lasting tan! - please tell us any tips...

Any information tips, tricks, links and suggestions are much appreciated by me and fellow members ;-)

Thank you...

depends on the bed...but i start people at my gym out at 5-6, depending on skin tone. do that a couple of times and work your way up slowly...tanning bed burns suck! they itch
as in lotion...the place you tan should have some to recommend

When I get home today I'll check on the lotion. I found some stuff that works great...just can't remember the name.

I agree with beka. If I haven't used my bed in awhile I start off with 5-6 min sessions.

I bought one two years ago. Some of the best money I've spent.

I've been tanning since May (?). I use a tanning lotion that I get at Walmart made for indoor tanning and it's only $8 or so. I also shower with a sesame oil - I put it on after I shower. I have really normal skin though, so if you have oily skin, that may not work for you. But, I've been doing this for years and I don't often get the flakes... except when your body goes through it's natural shedding.

I also started at 5-6 minuites. It's a quick process to get up there. Now I do about 20 minutes once a week or so. During water ski season, I go every other since I'm in the sun anyway.

And for Fade and DG, hi guys... trying to get back on track with the journal.

Uttt... You touched it, now you have to eat it.
