Protocol 1: Long-Term and Sustained
Fermented cod liver oil plus vitamin-rich butter fat - 2 capsules upon walking and before bed
Vitamin D3 - 3,000 - 5,000iu upon waking and before bed (6,000 - 10,000iu per day), until you reach blood levels of 55 ng/mL.
Short ice baths and/or cold showers - 10 minutes each, upon waking and right before bed
Brazil nuts - 3 nuts upon waking, 3 nuts before bed (see important footnote).*
*This is personal, and I don't suggest the same unless you're deficient in selenium.
A couple of things. Who the hell has ever seen fermented cold liver oil plus vitamin-rich butter fat capsules for sale anywhere? What, the Brazil nuts are just for Tim or those with a selenium deficiency? Do I ask for blood work to determine how my selenium level is?And the bit with the vitamin D3, how do I get my D3 level checked to verify I'm at 55 ng/mL? Seems like that would be hit or miss and your doc will send you packing if you're asking for multiple blood work events. Plus who's going to buy into cold showers a.m. and p.m. There's a life I want to lead!
I enjoyed his 4-Hour Work Week -- picked it up on sale. This book looks good, too, but probably more for entertainment than applicable info.
