I havent been on line cause i been movin house since Thursday.
My puter is still at the oldies place
and i havent had the chance to get on the work one.
Anyway i think the closest fire to us was about 10-20ks away but we were still getting ash in our workshop from the wind.
They were closing the F3 on Friday and Saturday, my brother got stuck in Sydney and was supposed to race his bike the next day so i had to go up to his place and get his bike ready for him.
I was flaggie for his race day *he gets extra points* but on the way home we got stuck on the freeway the fire was only a few 100mtrs in front of us. The incredible hulk water bombed the fire and we got sprayed, we were all like "yay, we just got water bombed, yay!!" can you tell we'd been sitting there for a while 
So the fires are pretty much under control and its raining today which is great
