Okay this sounds dumb but stick with me here.

Cool off your bedroom before you got to bed. Then get something you feel is comfortable for your head. Something to keep the top of your head warm. Maybe a snow cap or anything really. If you cant feel comfortable waring something on your head then maybe try a heating pad inside your pillow case. Not too hot just mildly warm.

Try it. You will like the results.

If you think I am kidding, think again. I know how you suffer. I had insomnia very bad for 15 years. I had an misdiagnosed (benign thank God) brain tumor that kept me awake. Still cant sleep well but this trick was one that really did help. If the room is too warm for me it wont work. Has to be almost cold and my head warm. Something about releasing hormones.

I cannot be blamed for what I say. So don't listen to what I write because I am clearly

Doxylamine succinate. The first time I tried it the effects lasted over 24 hours though. They're not as strong on me anymore, they're just right now.http://www.google.com/products/catal...d=0CFwQ8wIwAA#

Doesn't do anything for me. Anything OTC will not help for most people with actual true insomnia.
