well, 2 weeks before x-mas I would say many students are finishing up finals and heading home, professionals are either very busy (year end & x-mas) and/or have taken time off.

Here at my job, things have started to slow down a bit. But it does that every year. The week of Christmas, I'll be one of the only ones in my office. Now the week of New Years, I'll be as home sitting on my @ss.

I've been busy too... went on travel for a week, then it was Thanksgiving, then both son's b-day's, xmas shopping, wrapping presents, decorating the house (inside and out), gave more training at work, etc...

Well I was about three miles down the road because we just had a bomb scare.

I don't know if you know what a 20 mm ammunition can looks like but it's a relatively small rectagular steel box. After we use the ammo out of them they make great storage chests, tool boxes, etc. Some doofus walked off and left one behind our building and didn't tell anybody about it. Needless to say, we didn't take any chances and called the bomb squad.

Tools. Freakin' tools the plumbers were using to work on our sewer system.

I have not had the time either. busy at work and with the recent snow and ice storm there was much to do. No time off during the holidays either. It'll be another sucky holiday season.

That remindes me of that pic of the two bomb squad guys. One of them is working on a device and the other is standing behind him with a blown up paper bag, ready to bust it over his head.
