I wish they and NBA had stayed locked out, and the U.S. would default.

Love him or hate him, the kid is a winner. He finds a way to get shit done and gets everyone he plays with to believe it also.

As for the gay part.. That's probably true.

Same here I was worried I would have to actually spend time with the family on Sunday like I would in the off season!! Whew!

A cheap(er) way to get NFL Sunday Ticket on DirecTV is sign up for the 6 easy monthly payment plan, pay a couple of months then call and cancel it. At that point they will ask you why you are cancelling it and if it's because of the cost. Next thing you know they cut the price ~50%.

He may mature, watching him play at the stadium he couldn't read a defense even if thet all held up letters, I do wish him well. Met him at a chipotle's down the street from the training facility the day they cut fry, I thought it was weird he was said. Must have been the first time he saw the heartless business side of things

Eagles and Jets seems to be the big winners in the free agency madness to me. Jets did a great job maintaining what they have and picking up a few useful pieces, and the Eagles got the best player available along with some additional names along with signing their guys. Should be an interesting year.

free agency signings aren't putting these teams over the top.....they're simply the Miami Heat of the NFL now....big time players that can't/won't win a championship......the quiet, blue-collar teams will still be the big winners in the end

I would agree that free agency alone isn't enough, but the Eagles and Jets were pretty good before, too. I do think that scoring an impact player or two at key positions can improve your lot in the NFL, especially when it is a great cover corner or a dominant lineman or speed guy. I think the Jets are the team to beat in the AFC this year. Packers still look very tough in the NFC, so the Eagles are just trying to get into the picture and be competitive.

preseason week 1: 43 kickoffs were touchbacks.....the Bears purposely kicked off from the 30 and told the NFL they did it to practice/evaluate their kickoff coverage since it's only preseason

my solution to teams who oppose the NFL's rule to move kickoffs up to the 35 yard line is they start to purposely be offsides and take the penalty similar to what a team does taking a delay of game penalty when their too far out for a field goal and too far to go for it on 4th down and decide to punt but want a bigger field to play with......the NFL will get the hint soon enough!!!
