300+ metric tons is coming into the US annually, it's coming in on super-tankers and the like. when we did drug ops on the Caribbean we would never get authorization to search them, was told it was a waste of time told to stick to 30' boats and less.

A mate of mine at the bank where I used to work developed a pretty bad habit. He was a branch mgr and was heading to the restroom for a bump a couple times every hour, staying awake for 2-3 days in a row. On a friday evening, he went back to his office and laid his head on the desk for a "few minutes". Next thing he knew, the security guard was waking him up at 11pm. After that, a coupla friends interviened and basically made him quit and go to an outpatient program in the evenings. Luckily for him, it only lasted a couple weeks. But in that time, he managed to blow over 2 grand. It's pretty bad stuff.

I sampled a few times 15 years ago, but I didn't like laying in bed and watching the sun rise and listening to the birds chirping at 5am with no sleep.

LOL. I never did it without the booze. Even still, no sleep! On top of that, everytime you come down, your mind keeps screaming "MOAR!!!"

the best defense against the sun and the birds is the walk-in closet. that's were we would all "try" to sleep.

No thanks, I never was willing to plug. I can't count all of the people who told me that if I stuck beans up my ass that I would roll twice as hard. The two lines I would never cross were no drugs into the vein or up my ass.

I know you are right. I'm not even sure why I object to plugging. I just always felt that I was in control of my substance use as long as I never crossed those lines. In truth, it is a completely irrational decision. Drugs in your system is just that, drugs in your system. What is the difference between eating 5 beans or plugging two?

Now injecting is a different story. I knew people with track marks and nasty looking veins. I said no fucking way to that, and I stick to my guns on that one. Anyway, I always liked floating boats. I just loved that taste that crystal left on my teeth. OMFG, I have got to stop talking about this shit, because just thinking about it is making me remember that taste as if I just floated a boat 2 minutes ago.

I never tried that. Meth didn't come along till I was long out of the experimenting phase. Since then, the only thing I've played with has been beer and a little weed every now and again. Coke was fun as hell, but I hated being up all night. But werd, meth seems to be the poor man's coke.

Maybe at one time, glass sold for around the same amount as good coke. This was between 2000-2002. I haven't touched the stuff since. Sleep delirium doesn't stack well with mental disorders. Its awesome for the first 24 hours, but then starts to suck ass more with each passing hour after. I never liked coke much. These days I don;t even smoke weed. I just wish I could get my hands on some good psychedelic drugs about twice a year.

What kind of mental disorder do you have? Just curious.

Friend of mine used to do that with the DEA in Florida when he was in the Marines.

Probably everyone in the DSM-IV, but I have been treated clinically for bi-polar disorder and extreme insomnia. When I don't stay on my meds, things get bad, but when I did crystal, things got downright dangerous.
