I think the very end of the video when the father tells his kid to get in the house in an irritated fashion says it all. This guy was upset with his child and wanted to hurry up and get him back so he could take him inside and beat him.... I mean since we are speculating how do we know the cops weren't talking to the kid about how scared he was to go home because his father would hurt him??? That's maybe why they didn't want to let the father near him because they were questioning the boy to make sure his welfare wasn't in jeopardy when they released him back to the father...

My point was always about the kid being detained. I never speculated what he had done, only responded to other people's speculation on what he did.

I'm starting to question some peoples reading and comprehension skills here ,and i'm the foreigner.

And about the under the law blah blah. One has to show that he suffered in some way, since they did realize what they were doing a released the kid pretty quickly, there really isn't a case to take against the POLICE DEPARTMENT. If I were to pull up in a van and snatch yo ass there would be definite trauma to you, in this case the harm was avoided.
