Man or woman, that's pathetic. It's the X-Games and that's how they ride?

nah, these women are the real deal with motocross biking ( see above)
all motocross bikers look pathetic on that type of course, I know, my husband used to race motorcross before undertaking the harder mountain biking, you need to be a trickster to get over those logs and such, its not real motocross

This shit is no joke, these women have balls for doing this. These courses look really easy on camera but I can assure you they are not. They have probably not ever done this type of racing before, they are motocross racers. Endurocross is really tuff. Your exhausted by the time you have done one lap.

I give these chicks props for even trying.

Then maybe they shouldn't be doing the enduro at the friggin X-Games?

Agreed, most of these women would smoke any guy here on a motocross track.

Yeah, its kinda weird that they would do this. X-games has always been lame to me. They just got rich off of the whole "extreme" sports trend.

I wouldn't call them lame. It's top event for unusual or very physically dangerous sports. It takes incredible skill and dedication to perform.

Equestrian events at the Olympics; now that is lame.

Not saying the sports are lame. Just the X-games. These sports did exist before the X-games came along, they just had the idea to host them all under one roof.

The mens just goes to show you how tuff enduro-x is. These are the guys that race it every year. Not just in x-games, there are several enduro-x races that these guys train for and race every year.

What's wrong with having them at one big event? It makes it more appealing for the sponsors and easier for the athletes who perform in more than one event. It also brings greater recognition for the athletes.

Nothing wrong as long as its not some corperation trying to profit off of it which is what they were from the start. They didn't give two shits about the athletes.

I'm getting arm pump just watching that....

I used to setup my training track as an enduro cross just so when I hit a regular moto track it would be like flat track to me.... I also did hare scrambles which are my favorite, a few hundred acres of nonrepetitive track with gullies, washouts, mesquite brush, stream crossings you can't get a more challenging course. I also used to just go on blind all out races in unexplored woods with my friends. You start on fire roads and then just set off on what ever animal trails, dry streambeds or clearings you come to...dangerous but so much more fun.

Not surprised in the men's a trials rider was doing so well...,

When did they start making 2 wheel drive dirtbikes??? That's rad dad!
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Christini has been converting bikes to two wheel drive for a few years now. Not sure how long but I'm sure you could find out if you looked into it.
Its a pretty cool deal but adds some weight and takes some getting used to from what I hear. But if you can master it they are unstopable.
