under 50 posts=no new thread

Just wanted to see what everyone thought about this, seems everyday there is someone, or many, that have 3 posts and start a thread called "where is my stuff?" Usually the next response is "goto new members section and say hi, and get to 50 so you can pm", personally I think they should puke up the whopping $18 or whatever and become an elite member, but thats another pet peeve. The first action should be a pm, not a thread, but can this be made possible?

I can undrstand that too, some people don't read before they ask, the " 50 post window may afford them the time to become familiar with the "search " feature, among others
