I do this sometimes. I think about it, and then realize it doesn't really matter, my opinion doesn't matter.. I also realize it would probably cause drama, and would rather not be flamed. I would say I do it 10-20% of the time.

I find myself many times typing in response to a post, and before sending it I re-read it, laugh, and delete it. This is probably 10% of the time. How about you? Do you ALWAYS throw it out there, regardless of reprocuscion? How often do you hold back and delete? I bet everyone wishes certain ones would do it more often!Curious on feedback

Just a girl.... Looking for muscles!!

I throw away posts about 5% of them time.
Hell, I almost did it with this post. Seriously.
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
to improve their lives.

I have no filters between what i type and post lol!

WE KNOW!!

Jagbender's battle of the bulge
The problems we face today are because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by the people who vote for a living

I've stopped and sent the post in a pm rather than posting public several times.
But at least once I thought it was a pm and I was replying to a thread. Duh.
And I have done just as you describe, too. Typically, I'll say, "You don't have to reply to everything."
Have a habit of doing that which is probably why my post counts are through the roof on many boards.

I started a long reply to this then deleted it all and posted this...
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
