Hurricane Katia
As it looks right now Katia may make landfall similar to Irene. The forecast maps on NOAA show the possibility of T.S. Lee merging with Katia around Thursday.

The updated forecast has Katia staying offshore but coming close. I'd expect the surfers to take advantage of the waves but some possible drownings.
The rain from Lee is coming though.
