Didn't the FBI release statistics that show violent crime rates are actually dropping in California over the past 4 years?

Prop 19 (The Regulate, Control and Tax Cannabis Act of 2010) was going to pass here in CA...

It had a 55% approval in the polls untill Eric holder (Stedman,Oprahs fake boyfriend) promised to "vigorously enforce federal marijuana laws" against Californians even if voters passed Proposition 19...

After this statement the polls dropped to %44 and the bill died a sad and slow death...

    Damn Obama Administration

Well crime rate has gone up because these Maruijunana shops here in Cali got a little bit of leash. You have more pepole breaking in to these shops because the drug is there and all you need is a doctors recommendations. Cops are raiding homes beacuse pepole abuseing it and going over the limit of the Marijuana to make profit off of it for there own greed instead of getting a real job. And yes it is making tax$$$$ but its also making money for pepole who are selling it for there own greed like the shops, Pepole breaking in to these shops, Peploe breaking in to these homes to get this "medical marijuana" so on and so on bottem line pepole are killing pepole to make a quick buck.

They should band it and make it legal for pepole who really need it.
    But thats just my opinion

So people wern't abusing marijuana, selling it, and making a profit off it before 215 passed? People didn't kill people before to make a quick buck?

At least now people don't have to go to a dark corner and buy from some dealer who might rip them off. The state is getting taxed income instead of it going to the cartels...

Yes some shops are getting broken into and robbed, but are we also going to close all the banks because people are robbing banks? No...

So that is a pointless argument...

So what exactly is out of hand that wasn't happening before?...

no reason to be illegal. I put weed in the same category as alcohol. but on weed you`ll be doing UNDER the speed limit and obeying every law cause you`re so fucking paranoid! lol

who causes more problems, alcoholics or pot heads? case closed

The fact that weed is illegal and alcohol is legal is one of the core reasons I think people are stupid.

When was the last time you saw a couple of potheads start a bar brawl? Or go blasting down through a subdivision at triple digit speeds?

The small elite group who run society dont want the general public to be able to think too deeply into the state of the human race therefore natural substances such as pot and mushrooms have been banned.
It has very little to do with morality, ethics and profit but more to do with keeping the general public segregated from one another and maintaining an element of fear in order to control the masses.

No shit, up until the early 1900's Cocaine, morphine was everywhere, even in babies eye drops. But as soon as the blacks would use cocaine there was a big stink and fear arose that they would become violent, Illegal.

Pot, the Messin migrant workers liked to smoke weed and do their field work, Illegal.

    What a crock!

What a fucking douche bag. With how much money Barry O blows you would think he would relish in a new way to collect tax revenue to balance his budget that is so upside down I don't even know where to begin.

Legalize it. If peeps want to smoke themselves retarded then let them. Not to mention, taking the commodity out of the marijuana industry would mean less mexican cartels growing on public land.
