Even though they are old I still really enjoyed the first movie. Hell, even the new rambo was good.

Anyone have that picture of sly walking down the sidewalk during filming where his arms were super vascular?

Normally "advertised" as 6'2", I doubt Arnold has ever been taller than 6' flat.

Posed for the Polaroid moment at the first four Arnold Classics and was taller than Arnold in each shot. I'm 6'1". And **** you, no, I don't have the pics. That was more than 20 years ago. They're either buried in a box somewhere or on the trash heap.

Somewhere there's a box with t-shirts and autographed programs and a ****load of actual pictures. This was long before I had a digital camera. (Were digital cameras even around in '89?)

There's a whole website devoted to the topic of Arnold's height. I believe he was right around 6'2" when he was competing and has since shrunk an inch or two (to about 1/2 an inch over 6') which is not uncommon. Some people lose more height than others with a tendency to more height loss in longer torsos due to spine compression.

I am right at 5'10" in the morning when I first get up but at the end of the day I am right about 5'9.5" so we all shrink and over time that really starts to stick. There's no doubt in my mind Arnold was right at 6'2" at his prime. Just watch Pumping Iron and look at the other competitors. Louie looks just like you would expect a guy of his height would be next to a 6'2" guy like Arnold.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Arnold was 6' at best in his prime. My dad is 6' and he met arnold a few times back in the 1980's and he said He was as tall or taller then Arnold. BTW my dad was 6' when he was in the Army back in the 1950's so the shrinking with age thing does not work since my pops is 15 years older then Arnold.

    This.

I don't know GFR's father but I do know I stood beside Arnold in 1989. Taller. 1990. Taller. '91? You guessed it. Taller! And the same story in '92.

I'm sure height does vary or shrinking varies from person to person but I'm still 6'1" at nearly 50 and can hardly believe Arnold—the clear genetic superior between us—had shrunk two inches by the time we posed for that first Polaroid snapshot.

Schwarzenegger would have been just shy of 42 in '89.

Heard on a radio show that Arnold is doing two-a-days. Leon Brown (old school bodybuilder and friend of Arnold) said Arnold said he is out of shape but there's a scene in the Expendables sequel with both Arnold and Sly with their shirts off.

It's rumored to be Arnold's goal to look better than Sly in EX2.
