I hate dentists:(
i was just at the dentist and I got a root canel. I am in so much pain
this was my first root canal of my life and I have to get another on tuesday.
I have two conflicting emotions right now.
1) murderous rage and I feel like going on a killing spree
Or
2) curl up in the fetal position, go into a dark corner and cry

What about enjoy the high of pain meds?
Im going in next week tuesday to get all of my wisdoms removed. Not in the regular fashion of local anesthesia and sitting in a chair numb. I'll be knocked the fuck out, with a tube going down my throat, up my dick, and an iv drip. I guess my bottom wisdoms are pretty bad, growing sideways and pushing on the roots of the teeth next to it. I hope I don't miss to much days in the gym from it...

They are in it for the money. I went to get a tooth pulled because it was cracked in half and when I told him I wanted it pulled and not the $2000 root canal, he said ok I gues you know best, and went to go pull the tooth without any painkiller/numbing. I almost hit him. Yeah, I do know best. Its my body right? I walked out and ended up getting it fixed at a dentist down the street for $800 from a dentist my friend recommended. Still chewing food after 15 years.

If you are still in pain that bad your dentist sucks. It will hurt yes but like you are describing is some shoddy work.
