No money is guaranteed in any sport. You have to be pro and you have to be good. Novice and amateurs get donated prizes along with the pride in winning or placing.

Which is why so many body builders have jobs. You're such a stupid tit.

You know, some people just lift for the love of it. And I'm assuming that most of these folks have jobs on the side to support their lifestyle. I know quite a few firefighters and cops that are really into BBing.

If you are busting your ass to sculpt a physique why not put it on display and test yourself. For some it's an extra motivator to push them toward perfection, and for others a way to socialize with like minded people... Isn't coming to this board a waste of your time and therefore not worth it?
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

You still have to stay on top of your game, if someone better comes in they could take your spot, you end up third string and useless they could cut you from the team, I'm sure most contracts have a clause where you are in breach of contract if you aren't performing top notch. The only difference here is team sports versus individual competition...

Like I said you have to be pro.
The fact that you think pride in yourself is worthless speaks volumes about you.

Geared Dudes entering all-natural BB competitions reminds me of
South Park when Eric entered the special olympics.

No deca here...probably never will do that one. I keep eqiuivocating between this being my one and only cycle and doing one more Arnold-esque cycle with primo added at the end of 2012. I've pretty much reached my strength goals (which were admittedly modest) less than 3 weeks into this twelve week cycle and hope to just solidify these gains over the remaining 9 weeks.
Well hello Mister Fancypants. Well, I've got news for you pal, you ain't leadin' but two things, right now: Jack and shit... and Jack left town.
