Question for you college kids
In this era of severe recession and skyrocketing tuition, what effect has this had on 'Greek life' on campus? I would imagine the last thing many people would waste money on nowadays is being in a fraternity or a sorority.
I went to college back in the early 90's and I would guess 1 in 15 or 1 in 20 on campus were part of a frat/sorority. Then again, tuition was $800/qtr and books were $150-$200/qtr.

On my campus, only one frat was cool to party with.
The rest were TOTAL douchebag, jerseyshore-esque wannabe's.

I'm locked down with a GF. I seriously could get at least 3 numbers every day though. These chicks are WAY too easy. Maybe it's cause everyone on campus is like 150lbs except me.

I'm a grad student but live with a bunch of undergrad frat guys. Easy girls come in and out of our house allll the time. And of course..everyone is 150 pounds except for me and a few of my friends...but of course they're all shy except for me...and of course I'm tied down with a girlfriend. Honestly, it's way easier to meet girls if you're in a frat. If you can afford it and want ass it's probably the best move you could make for your social life in college.
