job growth isn't the same as job replacement......the growth of the working population (both legal citizens and illegals) is far outpacing job growth or replacement for that matter


Not to mention the near trillion dollar porkulous bill created many short term construction jobs which obviously weren't permanent.

I guess it depends where you read it. The piece I posted said the economy would have been much worse. Personally, I think the execution was terrible but we needed to infuse much more money, albeit in a different way.
Again, depends. I've seen numbers showing it went up and numbers showing it going down. For the most part, there has been little significant change either way.
