Are you saying this is a good thing or bad? From what I'm reading, the CBO says it was a BAD thing.

job growth isn't the same as job replacement......the growth of the working population (both legal citizens and illegals) is far outpacing job growth or replacement for that matter

Not to mention the near trillion dollar porkulous bill created many short term construction jobs which obviously weren't permanent.

including the rehiring multiple times of census workers (the gov't way to find out how much more they can tax the hell out of us)

I guess it depends where you read it. The piece I posted said the economy would have been much worse. Personally, I think the execution was terrible but we needed to infuse much more money, albeit in a different way. Originally Posted by ALBOB
