and this mentality stems from media sources in the US that are specifically designed to increase consumption for the large firms that reap the profits of this.

zoning requirements force builders to construct homes of certain sizes. the ave home has increased from 1400 sq ft in the 70's to over 2500 sq ft in 2008 and that price increased over 1000%. the causes increasing borrowing along with increased spending in heating and cooling, etc.

the average median car has increased in price something like 500% since the 70's...all these things are true but the consumers have no say in any of these things.

in the current environment choice is mostly an illusion
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

now on the flipside, because we're such a suburbanly sprawled out country with greater distances between neighborhoods, towns, and work districts, electric cars, trains, or other mass transits simply won't work.....we're not packed tight like japan or most of europe is......so the bigger autos provide more comfort on longer trips (which are higher in average than most other countries)......only closer regions that already have longer distance train systems should consider it like the east coast......i'm so glad my gov decline the 800 billion being shoved down our throats by barry soetero....(lol the program or funds are scrapped now anyway lol)

As far as my current job, I'm not employed by the government. I'm employed by a private company that's a contractor to the DoE. If I wanted health insurance through my company I'd pay aboujt the same as you."
Sorry about the misunderstanding. I don't read each and every reply to each posting, just most of them.

There still is no reason to be insulting.
