This may take some mental calisthenics on your part to grasp but when you are talking about a negative category, the absolute best part is the best representation of that negative. Pretty sure your eyes are glazing over and you are probably already typing out a repetitive response accusing me of hypocrisy.

DOMS I am not trying to prove my mental or moral superiority here. I am not particularly brilliant, I just try to apply myself 100% to problems.

All I said to begin with was that the image of a noose was
disgusting within a racial context. Whether you can prove I am an idiot or a hypocrite (which you have not, but let's just play along) does not make the source of my comments any less reprehensible. It's called an ad hominem (attacking the messenger) fallacy when you attack the bias of a source versus the actual facts that are presented.

Assigning moral equivalence to the noose and my comments (which you have demonstrated repeatedly that you do not want to understand) just demonstrates that you have no business even making these arguments. As your preceding post indicates you know very well that the cream of the crop implies a select few so quit acting like you think it means everyone because it is convenient for your indefensible position.

I have nothing aginst you personally DOMS. The only reason I post when I see stuff like this is because if there is no voice against it here then it makes IM appear a certain way that is not true at least as long as I am still here.

It's what people choose to do and say when they think no one is looking or there are no consequences (e.g. on the internet) that is most demonstrative of true character.

I despise Barak Obama. HATE what he's doing to this country. BUT, he's the President, his wife isn't. She sets no policy, she makes no decisions, she has no governmental function whatsoever. For that reason I think booing her was low class. True, her healthy eating crusade for children while stuffing her own face with loads of junk is highly hypocritical, it's still no reason to act like a bunch of moronic rednecks.

We've both made our points (valid or not) and all I care about is that the other side is represented which I feel I have done.

Making jokes about hanging anyone (except violent criminals arguably) with a noose is wrong. That is my position. If that is a losing argument then I will call myself a loser proudly.
