I had taco bell a few months ago and the beef was like canned dog food...seriously it could have been in an Alpo commercial. It tasted like it too. I ate half, threw the rest away and haven't been back since.
I used to work there out of High School and I worked in the last one in SoCal that still pressure cooked its own beans, seasoned and cooked its own beef, shredded its own cheese, etc., etc. It made a huge difference in the taste.
Last time I checked Del Taco (Taco Bell ripoff) in the Southwest U.S. still prepared its ingredients fresh as well. I always got the Macho Combo Burrito (over a pound of food).Well hello Mister Fancypants. I havent eaten there in a longtime. The last couple times I went the only thing I could taste was the onions everything else was tasteless and hardly any of it at all.
