$1.58 or so for cheap stuff.

The thing I won't understand is why gas prices rise disproportionately to crude oil prices.

I agree! Just last week on the news an OPEC representative said that there was no shortage in production/oil. What gives?

I think I've said this before... but, Everytime somebody farts over there gas prices go up, instantly. But when oil prices go down it takes weeks, if not months, to go down.

Is that for a gallon?

Here in the UK it is 76p/litre = £3.45 per gallon which is about $5.63 per gallon...

And it's going up....

When are the Hydrogen powered cars scheduled to arrive on the market?

Sorry MJ, I meant to say, 'let's go do something really negative to their means of transportation.' (Since you apparently already think DaMayor is a country bumpkin, I'd hate for you to think he was a politically incorrect red neck as well.)

The hydrogen cars are still years away, which is why Bush's promise to fund development will pretty much just blow away in the wind. We need more fuel efficient cars now! Using conventional technology that we currently have, all cars could get 40mpg within this decade. arg!

With the money Government and Oil companies make, I'm sure they have the technology now but its being held back.
Just think of the lost revenue they would face if cars got 40+ MPG.

Exactly....well that is one reason I voted for Nader

....and "Stole" the votes from Gore! I like to think of it as Gore and Bush "stealing" Nader's votes!
