    I feel like that is a ridiculous concept. We have to run off to them and write them letters and beg them not to pass this ridiculously facist legislation?     Well, one day when my kids ask me what it was like back when Americans were free, I'll be able to tell them I spoke up. I wrote my representative.

    I'm not naive enough to think the word "constituent" applies to anyone without wealth or influence, but I do what I can to preserve the rights of Americans. If there were enough people like me, then maybe, just maybe, we'd have a chance of being heard without "starting a bloody revolution".

    that exactly what the US gov has been doing for the past 3 decades. the fed gov only functions to serve lobbyists and the markets at this point. unfortunately to many people just woke up and figured this out, they are decades behind.
