Thread: How much to spend on a wedding dress?

My wife's dress was a Disney Princess line or some shit. Idk exactly what was paid for it by the in laws but I'm sure it wasn't cheap and way uncalled for. But she wanted the fairy tale I guess. Could really careless to be honest as long as she is good. Happy Wife=Happy Life

Not to mention she looked so f'n hot in it I couldn't wait to take it off, mission accomplished!

yeah its normal for most women to want a dress that expensive of course but to go for it is stupid IMO unless you just have a ton of money to blow then i guess its okay but still not smart for something that you will wear once

it's ok, I find asian men horribly unnattractive which is why i have never dated within my race and probably why my mom married an american, she has the same taste.

not uncommon, asians are very racist, they don't like mixing races, it's an absolute atrocity, my mother was disowned by most of her family after she married the "ugly american" and gave birth to half breeds. That's why there is little interracial marriage, but my mom never found any asian men attractive either and niether did many of her Taiwanese friends who all married american GIs.. The irony is my husband isn't into asians either, when he met me I had a very dark tan, he thought I was Latino, ( he loves dark latino or persian women like salma hayek or kim kardashian). when I tan, many people start speaking to me in spanish, it's a good thing I have spent a year learning it for my medical practice so now I can answer. I don't have the moon facies and slit eyes and flat noses like my Han chinese counterpart, my mom is aborigine Taiwanese who are very tall and have dark skin and aqualine noses and strong cheeks.....

nah, normal, you can see from my pics, but as long as my husband thinks I'm hot.....of course he has the life, doesn't have to work, has fun with my daughter all day and gets to train and work out all the time, that's probably why he sticks around......

Wow, that's a lot of money! I believe my wife paid 1,200.00 for her dress. Of course that was 25 years ago

There are some GREAT deals on wedding dresses online. Much better prices than typically found in local bridal shops.
