Exactly.
He could have made a number of videos on the very same day, one showing Americans who were even dumber than the one he made, the one he made, as well as one showing that Americans are geniuses.
This was—I'm certain—a video that was looking for the uninformed. Sure, perhaps those people weren't that difficult to find, but it was equally easy for the filmmaker to not include anyone who sounded remotely intelligent.
And there had to be at least one person who when asked, "What is the currency used in the United Kingdom?" answered, "Who gives a flying ****?!!!"

^^^^ Note: Because I do happen to give a flying ****:
The United Kingdom still uses the GBP Ł Pounds currency and not the euro, while some large companies in the UK accept the euro it is not generally accepted as payment.

I've been paying a lot of attention to what the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has be publicizing lately; It's partially the case in Canada as well, but I know it's not nearly as bad as some U.S. states. My kids are learning a lot about history and current affairs. My son in grade 10 is learning about globalization in social studies. I found out he finds it boring because he cannot relate to the material. I had him watch about a dozen Colbert Report's that I had PVR'd and picked the sections that applied to globalization. It took us an hour to watch as I paused everytime he had a question. After a few show's he was hooked and was interested in more than just globalization; he also learned a lot about satire; even today, there are members of IM who think Colbert is a real news show
If the schools are failing the kids and on top of that these kids parants are stupid, of course you're going to raise a society that thinks it's a good idea to invade Saskatchewan because they think it's a country in the middle east...very, very scary

Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
