I don't hear shit from O'Bama, Reid or any of the talking heads of your progressive friends either. You constantly skirt around the issue that in fact, they are all the same with slightly different agendas. O'Bama made no empirical facts as to why the Keystone Pipeline needed to be shut down, he just said they didn't have enough time to verify its environmental impact. Really, its been in the permit process since 2010, tell me that is not just political opinion without fact. It's hard to read what you write anymore, its like listening to the words of a pariah.
I'm for holding off. Once they have a solid plan in place and know all of the environmental impacts I am cool with getting it started. As of now they don't want to route it through the original route in Nebraska because they feel it will interrupt some underground waterway. I don't see any point in starting it until a concrete plan is in place and the route is decided. I don't know why you're getting all bent out of shape about it, though. This is precisely what the GOP wanted, they made this an election year issue by forcing his hand in January. They should have it re-routed in August and can revisit it then. Besides, this is probably only going to provide a few hundred American jobs for 2 years. It's certainly not going to put any significant dent in the unemployment numbers.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.
