Wrong. Their quality is much greater than crapsman. Tell sears or kmart you are a professional tool user and that "lifetime" warranty goes out the window.

I never once said Craftsman was better than Mac or Snap-On. I just said that Mac and Snap-On are over priced. I have gone into Sears and told them I use them professionally and they replaced them on the spot. Haters gonna hate I suppose.

I was using a craftsman here at work and the gears stripped out while driving a self-tap screw into a piece of aluminum.... The batteries don't hold a charge very long either. Don't ever buy a cordless under 18volts.

No, the hand tool warranty is no questions asked unlimited lifetime warranty. It doesn't matter if you used a screwdriver for a pry bar then let rust in the rain.

Most guys want tools they can rely on to get the job done, they don't have time to run down to Sears every time a tool breaks...

I don't know what industry you work in Little Guy but sometimes you have to be rough on your tools to get a job done ie. using a snipe bar. All I'm saying is their hand tools are of a good quality. I've only had two break on me in my life and it was because I applied to much force on them. If you have deep enough pockets to spend your money on "name brand" stuff go for it.

There are upsides and downsides to Snap-on and Craftsman. Snap-on are a higher quality and last longer but when you break one you can't just run out right then and there to get a replacement, you have to wait until the rep gets to you unless you know the rep really well and can get a replacement right away. Craftsman you can just run down to the local Sears and get a new one right away.

I've got both Snap-on and Craftsman tools. They are what they are.

Craftsman builds tools for Jow Schmoe to change his own oil. And having to be rough on tools is more of a reason to use a higher quality tool. But if they work for you good on ya. I like to keep the skin on my hands myself. You still mad bro?

It's also doesn't matter if you say 'I used this professionally and want it replaced". Other craftsman warranties have stipulations for professional use but not the hand tool warranty.

This has to be a clever trolling attempt. Who the fuck uses craftsman powertools?

If it's electric, it better be Dewalt, Metabo, and on rare occasion Drimmel. If it runs on gas, it better be Stihl or Husqvarna.
