i just dont have money to buy like 10 dumbbell pairs.

i would like to buy dumbbell handles and collars and some 10kg, 5kg, 2kg, 1kg, 0,5kg plates . putting plates on db handles just like on barbell. do you think it is a good idea? doing incline db press will be still possible?

I suggest you get some adjustable dumbells. I have the stage 2 power blocks and they kick ass. Adjustable up to 90lbs. If I out grow that I can add the stage 3 attachment which goes up to 140lbs each.

I regret giving away my olympic DB handles and collars. You could only fit so many plates onto each db bar, and anything over a 10lb plate made it cumbersome. But it gets it done and it saves space compared to preloaded DB's. and saves money.

Try Craigslist, there is so much used gym equipment for sale, and the prices are usually low or negotiable.

Craigslist and ebay for used Powerblocks. That's the only way to go. Wish I could find the additions to take my set up to 125 lbs.
Rules? You mean we have RULES for that???

    Bro...

    I'm in the same boat...

    90 just isn't enough anymore...

But the cost of the addition is more than an entire years gym membership...

i am a poor man so i thought that i can use same plates set for my db's and barbell.

just buy a lot of 5s, 10s, 22s and SOME 45s and db handles + spring locks + standard barbell. it would be much cheaper because i can buy used plates for very low price (1$ / kg)
