Bin Laden death photos may be released after all

WASHINGTON – The world may yet see photographs -- and even video -- of a dead Osama Bin Laden.

The conservative group Judicial Watch has sued for release of the materials under Freedom of Information Law, and they apparently have a case, The Atlantic Wire reports.

Former Justice Department privacy official Dan Metcalfe told the Website that a government brief in the case effectively concedes “portions of the records that are legally required to be disclosed.”

That could mean redacting portions of the images that show U.S. military personnel or technology, but not the slain terror leader, according to the report.

The CIA has argued that such a disclosure would “trigger violence” around the globe, Wired.com reported.

After offing the terror leader in Pakistan last May with a “double tap” of gunshots to the torso and head, Navy SEALs snapped pictures of his corpse to show they got their man.

The Obama Administration nixed conspiracy theories by showing them to a select group of lawmakers, who agreed that the “gruesome” photographs proved Bin Laden’s death beyond a shadow of a doubt.

But that was it -- the Administration argued that public release would compromise state secrets and unecessarily incite violence against the U.S.

After the raid, Bin Laden was promptly buried at sea in the Indian Ocean, according to the government.

The son of a weathy Saudi construction magnate, Bin Laden formed Al Qaeda and oversaw a campaign of terror that included the 9/11 attacks, in which nearly 3,000 people were killed.

    100% true^^^

I don't much care about a photo of a dead bin laden dude. I care much more about the 3000 that died on 9/11 and the men and women that have died since in the wars following and their families.

I cannot be blamed for what I say. So don't listen to what I write because I am clearly

It would be nice if our leaders felt that exact sentiment. But they wanna continue to yank our chains, it really doesn't matter if you believe the shit or not.

Business as usual. Even after they said all this kind of politics was gonna stop.
