    NC Police: Mom Injects Chemical Into Baby's IV


    North Carolina police charged a mother with abusing her 5-month-old daughter inside a hospital. They say they caught the 26-year-old mom on surveillance video pulling out a syringe from her baby's IV line, then injecting something back in. (Feb. 3)

    Missing details in the story to make judgment. She may have lost hope in the dr providing care to her baby, and thought she was helping. Im not sayinng she was right for actions, we just dont know the motives.

    True, maybe judgement was passed to soon. However, anytime I hear about a parent injecting there kid with an "unknown substance" via an IV line, I immediately begin to wonder about suspicious activity.

    Looks like a classic case of MSbP... What ever was in that injection will probably be found to be what has kept that poor baby sick this whole time...

    especially with just about every state having safe haven laws now. if you don't want the kid drop it off, at least give them a chance.
