He is just trying to set an example and doing it his way. Can't fault him for that, worse things happen like physical abuse or worse, the parent absent from home. If you really looked at it all he did was mess up a laptop that HE spent money on.

i think him calling his wife crying shows a man feeling helpless at his attempt to control this child's every thought and spoken word. the need to do that is just not healthy. some girl got mad and burned her boyfriends house down when he took another girl to the prom. "if you're mad enough being destructive is an acceptable course of action" is not a good message. maybe ted kasinski's dad shot his stuff when he was angry. if you're mad blow shit up. it will teach people a lesson if you ruin their shit.



revenge and discipline are not the same thing. revenge makes for good internet haha

but not so great parenting.
